We live in a time of accelerated change and growing uniformity. Globalization brings familiarity, but it strips away wonder, transforming our landscapes into something monotonous and undifferentiated. Change on one side, uniformity on the other. In this restless transformation, a photograph, in the instant it is captured, becomes both a boundary and the incarnation of the present moment—a line between “Before” and “After” that holds what once was while hinting at an uncertain future. My work explores these boundaries—between earth, sea, and sky; light and darkness; life and death—revealing dualities that challenge our understanding of a complex reality. Each image captures allegorical moments where the past becomes a metaphor for the present, illuminating visible and invisible confines.
